Reading access to the entire e-journal portfolio of IOP Publishing.
Corresponding authors affiliated with RPTU can publish their articles under an open access license (CC BY) in most hybrid AIP Publishing subscription journals. Please note that AIP Publishing's full open access (Gold) journals are not included in this contract. After exceeding an article cap within the AIP consortium, APCs of US$2,800 (list price US$3,500) per article will apply.

Reading access to the complete journal portfolio of APS, including the Physical Review journals and Review of Modern Physics.
Corresponding authors affiliated with RPTU can publish their articles under an open access license (CC BY) in the nine hybrid APS journals. Please note that the full open access journals (Gold) of APS are not included in this contract.
Use your RPTU e-mail address and clearly indicate your institutional affiliation at RPTU.

Authors at RPTU receive a 25% discount on the page charges for the above-mentioned journals of the publisher. An ASM membership of corresponding authors also entitles them to a 50% discount on the page charges and APCs of the gold Open Access journals. Membership can be taken out at the time the article is accepted.The various discounts on the page charges can be combined (ASM members and authors at RPTU receive a total discount of 63% on the page charges).
Frontiers

Reading access to the entire Frontiers e-journal portfolio.
Open Access publication component for all journals of the publisher. If the corresponding author is a member of the RPTU, the invoice is sent centrally to the University Library. The University Library will invoice the authors for the corresponding article fees. Under this agreement, the publisher grants a 10% discount on the APC for articles by corresponding authors at RPTU for each publication.
Hogrefe

Reading access to the entire Hogrefe e-journal portfolio.
Open Access publication component in all transformative journals of the PsyJOURNALS portfolio. If the corresponding author belongs to RPTU, the costs are covered by the contract with RPTU.
Reduced APC for publications in Gold Open Access Journals from Hogrefe
As the following titles are already Open Access journals, publications in them are not covered by the transformation agreement. Hogrefe grants participating institutions a 25% reduced APC (Article Publication Charge) on the respective list prices of the titles. Proof of affiliation with the participating institution is the responsibility of the authors and/or the institution.

Open Access publication component for articles in 56 (hybrid) subscription journals and 18 gold Open Access journals. If the corresponding author is a member of the RPTU, the costs are covered by the contract with the RPTU.

Open Access transformation agreement for Nature journals

Read-only access to the entire Nature portfolio for the duration of the contract, including the 21 Nature Reviews titles and all future Nature-branded journals.
Open Access option for the publication of primary research articles in Nature and in 32 original Nature Research titles.
If the corresponding author is a member of the RPTU, the costs are covered by the contract with the RPTU.

- the institution you have chosen (RPTU),
- the domain of the e-mail address you use (uni-kl.de, uni-landau.de, rptu.de) and

Public Library of Science PLOS

Open access publication component in all 12 of the publisher's publication organs. New journal titles that are added to the portfolio during the contract period are also covered by the contract. If the corresponding author is a member of the RPTU, the costs are covered by the contract with the RPTU.
Please note when submitting:
- If possible, use your ORCID ID for registration in the PLOS "Editorial Manager".
- Please select the option "My institution will fully or partially pay".
- Select "RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau" from the drop-down menu when entering the affiliation in the "Editorial Manager" of PLOS.
Taylor and Francis

Reading access to Taylor and Francis e-journals licensed by the University Library.
Open Access publications for Corresponding Authors at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau in all T&F Open Select Journals.
Journals that are converted from Open Select Journals (Hybrid) to Fully Open Access Journals (Gold) during the term of the agreement can continue to be published free of charge under the transformation agreement.
The publisher grants authors a discount of 15 percent on the APC of pure Open Access journals (Gold).
